Stuff It Upholstery is based in Northrepps on the North Norfolk coast. I restore and reupholster antique and modern furniture and also offer bespoke stools and ottomans, box cushions and scatter cushions. Whether you’re looking for a complete restoration of a treasured heirloom or a refresh with a new fabric, I've got you covered.
About me
Before becoming an upholsterer, I spent 20 years working in fashion, transforming designer's visions in to beautiful, well made garments for a premium quality brand.
After a huge lifestyle change and a move to the North Norfolk coast we bought a 200 year old blacksmiths cottage which we began restoring. As the wall and rooms were being rebuilt I turned my practica skilst to restoring furniture . I took a weekend upholstery course and was instantly hooked. I then spent 2 and half years and a weekly trip to Essex honing my craft, training at the
to gain a AMUSF Upholstery diploma at the Upholstery Skills Centre. I loved the the learning and the whole process.
Armed with this experience I grew my business and built my workshop. I love every part of my work from meeting the clients and helping them select a fabric to the stripping off the old layers to transforming it and revealing the transformation.
